We serve others, because Jesus served others. Jesus said in Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”  Once we surrender our hearts and lives to Jesus Christ, the natural next step is to serve Him by serving others and the church body you belong to.

As you serve, you begin to discover your calling and the gifts of God over your life. By serving, people have discovered they are called to preach or go to the nations, or even be a lifelong pillar of help in the church. You can take the next step in serving at The Cure by being connected to a Life Group and completing Membership Courses that are held Sunday mornings at 9am.

Hospital Visitation
The Hospital Visitation team exists to serve those who find themselves in a state of injury or illness. We visit the sick, pray with the hurting, and walk families through losses. No one should ever be alone, so we make sure they aren’t, no matter what they’re going through. If you have a burden for the heart of this ministry and would like to serve OR you have a friendrelative that could use an encouraging visit, fill out the attached form. We would love to help!

Outreach Team
Romans 10:14 says how can they hear without a messenger? We believe in the Great Commission. We have the answer to drug addiction, the answer to abuse and the answer to sin. Jesus Christ is the answer.  Our church reaches people who are far from God. We go to the places where there are broken people with the answer to change their lives. Our purpose is to strategize, pray and evangelize by street preaching. We want to see every life be changed by Jesus. The Outreach Ministry is open for anybody! We would love people to be committed and come with a heart to reach people. Click below to be apart of our next outreach!

Youth Ministry
The Cure’s youth meets regularly in order to give the teens and young people in our church and community their own place to engage and learn about Jesus. We gather to support teens in their walk with God in the hope that they will grow as pillars in the body of Christ for the next generation. Our job is to lead and love the kids we encounter. We have a wonderful group of ministry leaders that have a passion for young people as well. We coordinate services, outreaches, dramas, games, sermons, and other activities and events that can grab the minds of our young people and point them to the cross. Anyone interested in joining the youth ministry should absolutely get involved with our Membership Classes at The Cure that prepare you for life in ministry. This is a unique ministry that takes people who really have a heart for kids. If you feel that is you, then approach Pastor Steve McCleary for more information.

Production Team
The Audio-Visual ministry facilitates and operates all audio, visual, and communication equipment around the The Cure campus. At every service they run the environmental projection, operate cameras, create a light show, and run the audio for the live music you hear each week. Sunday morning services are recorded and uploaded to the website to be enjoyed by our congregation and the community. The mission of the Audio Visual Ministry is to provide audio visual enhancement and multimedia production and use technology to support the ministries of the The Cure church body. If you have a desire to serve within the A/V Ministry please ensure you have completed our Membership Classes. If you have completed those steps contact us an interview to take the next step.

Membership Classes
Our Membership Classes provide a background of our church history in addition to essential Christian beliefs. This ministry helps new visitors and young believers understand more about our the church and our mission. Membership Classes will help build the individual’s spiritual disciplines and personal growth in Christ. Our purpose is to equip every student with sound teaching for personal application. At the completion of the classes (10 week course), we host a ceremony acknowledging all new members during a Sunday service. Membership Classes are held every Sunday morning at 9am.

The Welcome Crew (Ushers & Hosts)
The Greeter Ministry here at The Cure greets every person that God brings to His church with a warm welcome and a smile. We are here to be God's hands and feet, whether you’re a new visitor or someone that has been here for a while. The Welcome Crew responsibilities include: Greeting people as they come in the doors, showing guests around the church facility, and connecting everyone with an usher that can help seat them. Their purpose is to serve everyone with a spirit of excellence, making them feel welcomed, and ensuring that they enjoy their time with us at every service. Someone can join the Greeter Ministry by becoming a part of one of our Life Groups and completing the New Membership Classes we offer here before Sunday morning services at 9:00 am.

The Cure Kids
We love kids at The Cure (and we know that Jesus does too). We want to see every child grow in their relationship with God and their knowledge of the Bible, in a loving and age-appropriate environment. We have a Children's Ministry because we hold firmly to the vision cast in Proverbs 22:6, which focuses on the training of children in the Lord's ways.

Music has the power to bring everyone together. It is the vocal message of Jesus Christ’s love and sacrifice for all. If you are a guest, then you will absolutely understand the message of the Bible through the songs you will sing with us. Our worship team helps bring people into the presence of God through dance, arts, painting, poetry and original songs.
