If you are looking for a FUN Easter Family Event in Kansas City, we have you covered!!
It’s that time once again. For some, it is a time to dress in nice clothes, cook a nice family meal, and play hide-n-seek with a couple dozen hard boiled and/or candy filled eggs. However, for us here, at The Cure, it means a bit MORE. At our Easter Family Event in Kansas City (EGGSTRAVAGANZA) , it is a time to teach and proclaim the real reason for celebrating Easter: the resurrection of Jesus.
On April 16th during our ten o’clock service we will be dropping 10,000 eggs from a helicopter! Not only that but we will be giving away FOUR bikes and zproviding lunch. This event is completely FREE to all. However, Easter is not about eggs and these festivities,just as Christmas is not about Santa and reindeer. There will also be a special presentation for the children as we teach them why we celebrate. Easter is about the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We at PCKC believe in doing whatever it takes to reach the lost, preach the gospel, and to win souls for the Kingdom of God. Though there will be eggs, candy, and maybe a bunny, through these methods we will spread the message of salvation and what Jesus’ sacrifice means for us all and spread the love of Jesus.
